Iridium 75 failed (-6 mag)
Another flare, which encouraged me to drove a distance of 30 km to the east. As usual it was some effort to find a suitable place. I brought my photo camera as well and together with the moon it should become a nice picture. That worked as you see on the right.
In the last seconds before the flare appeared I adjusted the video- camera. The flare appeared so quick, that my work came to late: You can see that in the movie.
It was a pity to drive so far (there and back and searching a place needed some time) for this poor result. So I decided to drive only for flares with -7 mag and when there is a bright star close to it. Well, I am still waiting for this opportunity, but with the winter stars in the next months it should be possible.

The flare is above alpha Com.

Taking the movie was not so successful:

slower than in reality.
